Exploring different materials and understanding the importance of 'Balance' in life. 

Everything needs balance in the world, whether it being brutal objects or the need for good and evil. Looking at this, we scavenged through the dirty bins of Camden to find the perfect elements to create our first foundation project. The rustic feel of the rotting decking made the piece look almost natural, as if it wasn't man made. They all balanced each other perfectly, however, we did achieve this with trial and error. The decking was quite chunky so when we placed it in certain ways it just looked like a pile of wood on the floor instead of the strong balanced structure we were looking for. The trial and error payed off in the end because we were able to create a strong balanced structure with an extraordinary pattern within the middle of the structure.
